On 17 February, 2005, we made history by hosting, in cooperation with National Instruments, the first NIDays event in the Philippines. The annual virtual instrumentation conference was a great success with over 160 participants and with seven speakers from NI, industry and academe. The full-day event featured a range of demos and the ballroom at the New World Renaissance hotel was buzzing with activity.

On 15 March, 2005, we had two more sessions of our highly acclaimed LabVIEW hands-on seminars, hosted by National Instruments. The participants experienced LabVIEW up close and personal, actually developing code as well as testing some of the more advanced functions including remote control of software over a network.

On 17 March, 2005, we ran yet again the popular National Instruments seminar in Manufacturing Test Strategies – Reducing Your Cost to Test. The seminar participants learned how to implement a cohesive, integrated test system architecture to lower cost, increase throughput and improve quality.
 

On March 21, 2005, we conducted our company-wide ISO 9001:2000 Awareness Training Course, handled by our external ISO consultant. The training was much appreciated and the lunch was good. Our preparations for the ISO 9001:2000 certification is now in full swing, with documents having been in development since early March already. The certification audit is currently scheduled for late October this year.
