packaged for turn-key delivery to the end-user, although many
clients choose to avail only of selected services.
Why would your organization consider buying a solution,
instead of building it in-house?
If you are like most clients, the answer

You may want to have your engineers focus on the core business
of your organization, instead of building and maintaining an
in-house equipment development group. You will also need to
factor in the cost of the opportunity loss when your engineers
are not spending time on your core business.

you develop the solution in-house, you run the risk of a cost
overrun, whereas if you purchase your custom solution from
another party, you can often negotiate a fixed price.

you purchase your solution outside, the supplier will often
guarantee a certain lead-time and you run less risk of delaying
